We are thrilled to see our community come together once again for this annual event honoring the history, craft industry, and community of Norway, Maine. This year is shaping up to be the largest Snowshoe Festival to date— you won’t want to miss out on the weekend’s activities!
Community Dinner & Contra Dance
Friday, February 14 / 4:00 - 8:00 PM / Norway Grange, 15 Whitman St.
Join Western Foothills Land Trust, Norway Brewing Company, Alan Day Community Garden, Fare Share Food Cooperative, and Lights Out Gallery for the second annual Snowshoe Festival Dinner & Dance.
We’ll begin the evening with a delightful community dinner from 4:00-6:00 PM, offering two seatings at 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Enjoy delicious local fare showcasing our local food purveyors and the culinary expertise of our community partners. As the second seating begins, those interested will move upstairs for a lively Contra Dance from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The event will showcase the talented calling of Bill Olsen and Pamela Weeks, ensuring a night of fun and traditional dancing.

Norway Maine Snowshoe Festival and Races
Saturday, February 15 / 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM / 58 Roberts Road, Norway
The Festival begins on Saturday, February 15th at 10:00 am with the adult 10k snowshoe race, followed by the adult 2k and 5k and kids 2k snowshoe races. Prizes sponsored by Crescent Moon Snowshoes will be awarded. Registration for the race is $5 for youth and students, and $15 for adults. Pre-registration is encouraged.
